the folk civics around the filibuster is very similar to the folk civics around the electoral college in that both are very clearly after the fact justifications for rules that make no sense and have no logical basis

I was definitely taught both these folk civics lessons.
More businesses launched on Stripe since the start of 2020 than did in the rest of Stripe's history before then. Overall rate of migration to the internet economy is hard to overstate.
It's wild to think that this many companies weren't online already.
They should invest it all in Netflix stock.
